I enjoyed online micro teaching a lot as I learnt a different way to teach especially online, I also learnt a great deal from other students too as well as what tools one can use when teaching online. However, I disliked that the glitches in the the digital tools and network issues that we experienced as it caused myself and colleagues to feel a bit insecure or nervous about our lessons as well as being nervous also made me talk faster therefore, even though I had something to say the learners wouldn't o been able to hear me.
I think I would change the way I spoke during my lesson, as I spoke too fast, I think the lesson would have been better if I spoke a little slower, but I got nervous and I began rushing my lesson therefore affecting the learners during the lesson. I chose a Kahoot! as a digital tool which worked well for me even though some of the learners felt like the game was fast but the intent of the game was for the learners to guess then provide a quick answer to the game.
This experience has prepared me with different digital tool platforms I can use, I also learnt different ways to explain time, multiplication arrays and 2D shapes.

I thoroughly enjoyed your lesson on pollution. I really liked the images that you used for the lesson, it was nicely bright and colourful. The assessment part of your lesson- the Kahoot was fun, and I thoroughly enjoyed the questions that you used. It was challenging but it allowed us to think outside of the box.

It is great that you reflected on both your strengths and weaknesses during the online teaching. This was really an insightful read and it is evident that you have gained additional knowledge that has equipped you for your classroom. Great job! 🌹
It's fantastic to read about your insightful reflections on your online micro teaching experience. It's evident that you've gained a wealth of knowledge and growth from this opportunity. Your willingness to embrace new teaching methods and digital tools is commendable, and it's clear that you've learned not only from your own experiences but also from your peers. Navigating the challenges of glitches and network issues during online teaching is something many educators can relate to. Your openness about the nervousness affecting your determination to find ways to overcome these obstacles is commendable.
